- crazy odds moves for no reason. The only significant missing player is Rico Clark, on Houston, who played MF for USA today. Dallas with a great comeback last week and play well against Houston at home (not so away). Earlier match ended 3-3 when I was gutted by the late Houston equalizer so teams certainly can score on each other. Toja and Alvarez should be giving great effort out of the doghouse and Oduro/Cooper are in great form up top.

i just find it ironic that the same fixture in the same season ends the same way. At least this time I pushed...last time I was on Dallas straight win at odds over 5.00 when Houston equalized in stoppage a month or so ago

- no Peguero, Glinton, Kamara, Guerrero in attack for SJ who, even with them, are very challenged scoring goals. RSL nice home team and SJ will have a tough time on this carpet and in the altitude

now ronnie o'brien has been ruled out for SJ...they will play with perhaps the worst midfield and attack in this league's history today. We're talking Johnson and Kirovski up front and Corrales, Vide, Grabavoy, and Salinas in midfield. :think2:

I saw SJ play against Houston when they won 2-0 at home. They played an inspired match which was totally out of character for them. It was also a home match for a team that was floundering looking for a desparate win.

With that being said, I don't believe SJ will repeat that effort here. I believe that effort was a one-time deal. I can see RSL going for the jugular and knowing that SJ is wounded. This is a really good price for such a situation.

- just learned Sala will not be in net for Dallas this afternoon meaning they miss the keeper, two regular defenders, and two midfielders including Rocha (5 assists). Dallas 3rd match in 9 days plus altitude

I take it McManus is fit as he started for the Rapids. He is a real boost to their attack which can be stodgy when opponents bottle up Gomez.

Not sure why Clarke isn't also in the starting lineup.

It appears FCD will hire SMU coach Schellas Hyndman to manage their team. Well, at least they saw fit to start Oduro as he struck again and is on fire. Need it because w/ their shaky D and Sala out they have to score to get results.

cummings, mcmanus, gomez, and a nearly healthy connor casey actually form a half decent striking group by mls standards. then through gomez and cooke to feed them and you have a real positive attack.

dallas keeper was excellent yesterday...probably saved them from a 5-1 beat down.

also, watch out for the brian mcbride sweepstakes...he will instantly become a top 5 mls striker and most likely recipients are Toronto, Chicago, and Columbus

only issue is he wants to play on the Olympic team which means he'd be out for August

also watch for TFC to sign Huckerby and/or Ameobi this month
